In this course you'll learn about critical historical events and how they shaped the behaviors of Black travelers. Together, we'll examine marketing practices and how they impact travel decisions and lastly you'll learn about amazing resources needed to diversify your travel toolbox!
Your Instructor
Charis is an educator, podcaster, and travel enthusiast! She has researched aspects related to Black travel in both informal and formal settings. Currently enrolled in the hospitality and tourism management PhD program at Virginia Tech, Charis continues to research new areas associated with Black travel. She created this course as a way to share information on this fascinating topic with all who are interested!
